Maribel de Santiago
Maribel de Santiago is Mexican and reality television contestant from Zacatecas, Mexico.[1] De Santiago became a contestant on the reality show/beauty contest Nuestra Belleza Latina. She auditioned in 2010, but was not selected to move on to the next round. After she earned money that year and lost 40 lbs., she auditioned at all of the castings. She was finally admitted in Miami, making her the final contestant chosen. After weeks of competition, critiques, adversities and eliminations, De Santiago was eliminated on May 1, 2011, landing her in 8th place in the competition. Although she did not win the grand prize, she won the 1st challenge of the week, earning herself and fellow winners a total of $10,000. She is the oldest contestant to participate in Nuestra Belleza Latina, at 28 years old.[2]
Personal Life
Maribel de Santiago is a professional accountant and a dance instructor for low income girls. She has also stated to be single at the moment. She also stated to have been mostly single all her life. Any romances she has had have been very brief and fruitless. She describes herself as drived and sources claim she is a determined person who will stop at nothing to get what she wants regardless of who is in the way. She puts herself before any one else, even if her accomplishments are at other people's expense.
